When you plan a winter wedding in the mountains, you imagine snow-dusted trees, bluebird skies, and the kind of magic that only happens when nature and love collide. For Kendra and Jackson, their wedding weekend at Solitude Ski Resort delivered all of that—and then some.
The day before the wedding, just hours before we were set to capture the Welcome Party, the entire mountain lost power.

And sure enough, just a couple of hours later, the lights flickered back to life. It was a perfect reminder of how resilient love (and mountain communities) can be. That evening’s Welcome Party glowed with warmth—firelight, fresh snow, and friends gathered from far and wide to celebrate the start of something big.

By the next morning, the mountain was showing off. Two days of wild snowfall had left behind flawless powder, and the sky opened up just in time for Kendra and Jackson’s ceremony. Nestled high above Solitude, surrounded by pine trees and panoramic peaks, the two exchanged vows in one of the most breathtaking settings we’ve ever filmed.

And then… they skied.

In full wedding attire, Kendra and Jackson clicked into their skis and led the charge down the mountain, followed by their closest family and friends. It was celebratory chaos in the best way—cheers echoing across the snow, suits and gowns zipping through trees, powder flying beneath skis. It was raw, joyful, and absolutely unforgettable.

As the sun set behind the peaks, the celebration continued in town at The Thirsty Squirrel, a local favorite turned after-party hotspot. The vibe? Mountain lodge meets dance floor mayhem. Boots kicked off, music cranked up, and the energy didn’t stop until the lights came back on—again.
