Nestled under a canopy of trees in Chaska, Minnesota, Woodland Glasshaus at Bavaria Downs offers couples a modern, nature-inspired wedding venue with an unforgettable aesthetic and ambiance. This exquisite glasshouse-style space blends contemporary luxury with the serene beauty of the woods, making it ideal for ceremonies and receptions that feel both elevated and intimately connected to nature.
Available seasonally from May through October, the venue features floor-to-ceiling glass walls, stunning natural light, and breathtaking forest views - creating a refined, light-filled backdrop that enhances your photography and elevates every moment of your celebration.
Whether you're planning a chic minimalist wedding or a richly styled event, Woodland Glasshaus's versatile spaces - including distinct ceremony and dining atriums - offer a blank canvas for personalization, seamless flow from vows to reception, and exceptional guest experiences.
After exchanging vows beneath the soaring glass atrium, guests flowed seamlessly into cocktail hour beneath the trees. The highlight? A perfectly stacked champagne tower that shimmered in the afternoon light. As Kenzie and Danny poured the first cascade, laughter echoed through the woodland setting - an effortlessly elegant transition from ceremony to celebration. Passed hors d'oeuvres, signature cocktails, and the soft hum of conversation filled the space while the forest framed every candid moment.
As the evening unfolded, the reception space transformed into a candlelit dream. Long tables glowed beneath layers of taper candles and soft glass votives, reflecting against the venue's floor-to-ceiling windows. The effect was intimate yet grand - a warm contrast to the crisp architectural lines of the Glasshaus. Every detail, from the floral textures to the romantic lighting, elevated the atmosphere into something timeless and editorial.
Just before sunset, we whisked Kenzie and Danny away on one of the property's golf carts, winding through the wooded paths of Bavaria Downs in search of golden hour. The sky melted into soft blush and amber tones as they stepped into the open meadow. Those sunset portraits - quiet, windswept, and bathed in warm light - became some of the most breathtaking images of the day.
